this should be called the tacacs+ exam….I’d say a third of questions revolved around it…stupid trivial shit which won’t make you a ‘better’ NETWORK engineer….No one cares about if you know TLV’s, what aspects Tacacs encrypts, this test SHOULD ask HOW do you setup tacacs vs the stupid nuances they are asking you…study up and you can do it, just gotta wade thru the trivial BS questions…..

i agree with you. i’ve been a CCNP for 10+ years and the exams have got worse over time. They used to be valid as a measure of skill. Now they are just a measure of vendor trivia, much like others are.

I’m not sure i will follow further into that realm…but lets see what the next batch of certs are like. I got a feeling it’s all about money now

Hi, I just passed the 9XX exam.
The truth is that there is no better option than TUT! It helped me in the CCNP and CCNP certifications! They are cracks! I hope they continue contributing.
Some new questions but most are from the TUT sites.

When I started my CCNP juroney I did the switching exam in 2016 and studied really hard for it and passed it, then got busy with work and family life , then last year I resumed the study to do the route and 3 month later the shooting as it was required by my employer, I did the TShoot the week before xmas, and was waiting for my certification for a bout 2 weeks, then forgot about it when i din’t recievd as i was busy with work, then the HR at my company started chasing my to added it to my file, so I had to phone cisco asking where the hell is my CCNP ceritificate, to horror I was told that my switching exam has acullay expired before i passed my third and last exam by a bout 10 days and that is why i didn’t receive the CCNP. When i told my manager that i had to sit it again before the deadline I had only 13 days and I had big project I was working on at my job, so he told me that i cant have any time of from work and just forget it. so for the last 10 days i would come from work at around six in the evening and sit down for about 5 hours going through stuff trying to remmber the bits that you never come acorss while at work. I even had to book my exam on a Saturady as they wouldn’t give me a day off.
Last night cam form work and sat down for a bout 6 hours then went for 3 hours sleep and then off to the exam centre which is like 3 hours drive as i couldn’t find any to do the exam on Saturady. On my way driving i could feel my body shuting down and felt there is no way in hell i would be able to pass as I felt blank. Got to the city and got lost to find the place but luckly i left my home in enough time. and when I got there finally I hardly was able to move as I was really tired.
Sat down and for about 120 minutes trying to concentrate as much as my tired body and brain would allow me, and when the result came on the screen that I have passed with 8** I was so relifed and happy, now i cant go to sleep.
