    Guys…one from me if you don’t mind..

    Which two statements about default FHRP behavior are true? (Choose two.)

    A . A standby HSRP router becomes active if it has a higher priority than the priority of the current active router
    B . A VRRP backup virtual router becomes the master router if its priority is higher than the priority of the current master router.
    C . Unless specifically Configured, the priority of an HSRP router is 200.
    D . A backup GLBP active virtual gateway can become active only if the current active virtual gateway fails.
    E . Preemption is enabled by default

    A, B and D seem correct?
    C and E both definitely wrong.

    @Boxing_Surfer

    I agree with you… D and F

    “In 802.1Q, the trunking device inserts a 4-byte tag into the original frame and recomputes the frame check sequence (FCS) before the device sends the frame over the trunk link”

    @Switchy

    I dont think D is true

    A backup GLBP AVG can become active if a higher priority AVG become active and preemption is enabled. It doesnt required the active one to fail

    @Help me!!!

    config looks perfect to me

  6. Switchy
    February 19th, 2020

    LACP lab – Doesn’t it apparently say that the configuration needs to be made on the interfaces?
    That config is applying on the port channel?

  7. boxingSurfer
    February 19th, 2020

    @Switchy

    If you configure like this then config should end up on the interfaces as well as the port channel.

    I would do it like this.

  8. JJ
    February 19th, 2020

    Yes. But in exam says config only under
    The physical interface. You don’t have to do
    Anything under Po channel interface

    RADIUS:

    + Encrypts only the password
    + Combines authentication and authorization
    + UDP

    TACACS+:
    + Proprietary
    + Separate AAA
    + Encrypts the entire body
    + TCP

    I took today and fail. Many new Q’s. Lots of TLV Q’s.
    GLTA

  12. MM
    February 20th, 2020

    @JJ, I am in for the groupbuy. How can we do this?

  13. Switchy
    February 20th, 2020

    Sorry to hear that Valdez, do you remember any of the Q’s?
    We have one chance to pass now, no time to try again…

    LACP TLVs:
    System name and description
    Port name and description
    VLAN name
    IP management address
    System capabilities (switching, routing, etc.)
    MAC/PHY information
    MDI power
    Link aggregation

  14. nyck
    February 20th, 2020

    @Switchy
    there are multiple question around asking for TLVs. I do not think they adding new questions week before exam expires. Most likely person that failing just did not study properly or never saw this question. I came across few PDFs with 900 or 1000 questions. There is no chance to remember everything.

  15. MM
    February 20th, 2020

    @nyck
    There is supposed to be a dump that is only 384 MCQ and they said it is valid. Probably cleaned up. I would like to get my hands on that if anyone knows how. @JJ said there is a groupbuy but not sure how that works.

  16. boxingSurfer
    February 20th, 2020

    the TLV ones are particularly annoying. you just have to try to comit them to memory. I wish the cisco exams didnt do this kind of testing – i mean lets face it, knowing the TLV’s doesnt help you become a more proficient network engineer its pointless. This is a reason the CCNP lost so much of its value in recent years

    but we have to do what we need to pass the exam…

    i have a crib of these (cdv vs llpd) that I will post tomorrow. maybe it will help you as well as me

  17. DonCarlos
    February 20th, 2020

    @boxingSurfer, please post your crib ASAP. I am taking test tomorrow!

  18. boxingSurfer
    February 20th, 2020

    my best advice

    if you can, do some wireshark captures of LLDP and CDP frames
    Look at their contents. compare and contrast them

    It helps those of us with visual memory remember how they are laid out

  19. CCNP Switch
    February 20th, 2020

    @Help me!!!

    Your native vlan command is wrong

    It should be

    #switchport trunk native vlan 99

    interface port-channel 1
    switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
    switchport mode trunk
    switchport trunk vlan native 99
    switchport trunk vlan allowed 1,21-23
    no shutdown

    Note:- To check your configuration

    01. Both switches you check the interface port-channel & VLAN UP typing #show ip interface brief

    02.Check both switch ether channel status #show Etherchannel summary

    03. Ping 192.168.1.1 from switch B (If you can able to ping the router gateway your configuration correct… )

    @jj

    no guarantee those questions are any different from the ones on this site, and other materials
    and no guarantee the answers are more correct

    you really want to pay for more questions to study?

    i think everything you need is here on this site. lots of questions, lots of wrong answers but good basis for study.

  25. MM
    February 20th, 2020

    @jj
    I am willing to go in on it. But @boxingsurfer is right. But right now, I don’t think it matters, if they have the new TLV questions in there, then I would think its legit.
