Oh i see! I’m just wondering because it won’t work in the real world to reach the vlans from the router if fa0/1 stays in access mode. Thanks as well.

All, how to prevent the Native VLAN Mismatch error messages in LACP/STP Lab? Anyone please?

    @LACP with STP

you may shutdown the interface fa0/3-4 during the lab and once you are done with all the configuration, turn them back on.. don’t forget to save the configuration during the exam :)

Which two statements about the monitored traffic in a SPAN session are true? (Choose two.)

A . You cannot configure two separate SPAN or RSPAN source sessions with separate or overlapping sets of SPAN source ports and VLANs
B . By default, all monitored packets are captured without the IEEE 802.1Q tag
C . Egress SPAN monitors packets sent by the source interface before any QoS modifcations
D . Sources can be ports or VLANs or any combination in the same session
E . By default, all monitored packets include the IEEE 802.1Q tag that they had on the source port
F . Ingress SPAN monitors packets received by the source interface before any QoS modifications

Ans: CD? Share your thoughts please. Thanks.

Premium questions are about 1000 questios, you need to register to this site on the top right corner.

I think it cost 19 per month.

When you have a premium account what is wise to practice?
    separate topics or composite quizzes?
I have the feeling that composite quizzes do not cover all the questions but on the other hand i also see questions in composite quizzes which are not in separate topics, please advice.

    I passed at 02-08-2020 – 8xx

    Simlets:

    HSRP
    VTPv3 Sim

    lab configuration:

    LACP with STP

The labs are the same here. A lot of question that don’t have on PDF.

    Now I will try Router.

The Cisco StackWise dual-active detection mechanism is most useful under which condition?
    A. when the active switch experiences a MEC link failure
    B. when the active switch experiences a standby failure
    C. when the active switch enters an inoperable state
    D. when the active switch is still operational after a virtual link failure

    I believe its D.

Huh? –> and the one “choose 2” that I keep finding the hardest – where do you configure untrusted DHCP snooping in an ISP environment.

A question about a configuration with a dot1q enabled trunk port. (Choose two)
    A. Supports VLANs 1-4096
    B. Does not support tagging native VLAN
    C. Dot1q supports tagging 1000 VLANs including the native VLAN
    D. ?
    E. ?

The answer is A and C but is there a reference document for answer C? Theoretically it should be 4094 imo?

I am pretty sure the span port has the vlan tags of the source

could answers be E and F?

    https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst3750x_3560x/software/release/12-2_55_se/configuration/guide/3750xscg/swspan.html

“The default configuration for local SPAN session ports is to send all packets untagged”

  24. Mirco
    February 11th, 2020

I already have the same doubt and search for the solution and found this article in cisco

  25. Mirco
    February 11th, 2020

So I beleive that the switch capture the capture without any tag, it doesn’t make sense capture the packet, remore the tag and send it to SPAN, that’s is “doubling” the work and resources of the switch when it can capture without the tag and send it to SPAN.

Anyone knows it in the real exam HSRP and VTP Sim it is need to configure something or the SIM is only to troubleshot?

  27. KR2020
    February 11th, 2020

Had VTPv3 and HSRP simulations. at least 6 questions on HSRP,vrrp, glbp (know virtual macs for each), a question on multi chassis ethernet channels, 2 or 3 on ether channel protocols, diagram showing bridge priorities, default for one (know default bridge priority).

    RSPAN False
    Mac address
    2-1024
