passed with 9XX . All you need is certprep premium . SIM HSRP,LACP+VTP.
certprep premium flashcard version are really good and saves time compared to pdf.
when i say certprep is enough, i say study everything they provided.

For which reason would you configure RSPAN instead of SPAN on your network?

    A. RSPAN provides more complete monitoring of the traffic on a single switch
    B. Only RSPAN devices can monitor traffic on other device
    C. Only RSPAN can log traffic on a VLAN that spans multiple switches
    D. Only RSPAN supports STP on multiple switches across a campus

Answer: B… but isnt C correct?

Dan i would also choose B. C says log, B says monitor. It’s a play of words, but I i think monitor is the correct one.

Passed today with 9xx . some new questions CDP qos cos, LLDP, MAC, pVLAN . some questions rewrited but sense is the same (other options in answers).

    simlets
    HSRP
    LACP with STP
    VTPv3 Sim

    D&D
    RSPAN true false

If you try pass only with dump’s, without knowledge. probably you will fail, becasue you will not answer correctly for new questions.

    @Dan21:

If the port was in an EtherChannel group, it is removed from the group while it is a destination port.

Passed last week. Most in IPHelper’s list was valid (especially the 2018 and 2019 additions but double check for incorrect answers). LACP/STP was only sim (beware missing ‘range’ option), newer HSRP and VTP were simlets.

    passed today with 9xx/1000..
a new question :if you connect uplink an internal switch to a provider’s switch, which feature you have to enable on your switch to avoid most probably a broadcast storm.
    a, BPDU filter
    b, BPDU guard
    c, loop guard
    d, ip source guard

Other: in the vtp3 sim i have picked the configuration of the vlan 500 and 600 only on the SW1, BUT, for me the primary IDs were not corresponding to SW1’s ID, only the Primary description showed SW1 on the SW1 device. Most probably there was a typo in the Primary ID MAC address. Also there were other mistypings along the questions, so please be careful :)

    Hello passed exams today.

Labs HSRP Sim, VTPv3 and LACP with STP.

    Drag and Drop:
    VSS:
+ can be used even in geographically distributed equipment
+ is supported only on line 4500 and 6500
    + uses 10Gbps interfaces

    Stack:
+ can be connected in up to 9 devices
+ is supported only on line 3750 and (2960/3650/3850/3750+)
+ uses proprietary cable for connection

    Question are present there and some are different but logic are same. If you guys have learned the logic well should be okay, i didn’t learn everything as fault of time and don’t remember most of question sorry guys;

    LACP
    UDLD
    TACACS/RADIUS
    HSRP
    PORT-SECURITY
    NATIVE VLAN
    RSPAN/SPAN

Also to help a little at first i watch CBTNugguets its helpfull to understand certain things but need extra learning to understand it all.

    Goodluck guys. THSOOT Next.

@Dan21, this was my last question and this was the one which of I was thinking the most. I was thinking about 25 minutes 90 minutes before the total end, and I also peed and got a glass of water, but my answer was already ticked, so one click cropped me from the zenith of 3 weeks intensive and hard work.. I tought, what if all this shit depends on this very one. And if you have a slight sensitivity towards keywords,.. I learn on the basis of keywords, like this one. Once I see “brodacst storm” I associate right away to loops. So this is what I chose. Loop guard. But of course, you never know the solution. toi toi toi friends !

    a, BPDU filter
    b, BPDU guard
    c, loop guard

    What is the answer?

I’m guessing BPDU filter as you wouldn’t want your switch to participate in the providers STP domain.

Anyone have any ideas on this?

Juan again, I think it’s loop guard for the above question.
But it would depend on how the port is configured on your side.
Who knows? Another stupid vague cisco question.

    February 8th, 2020

    @Juan
Given this example I think it is B. BPDU Guard, as we know Filter and Guard can’t be applied together.
bdpufilter essentially stops spanning-tree from working on the interface. Doesn’t send bpdus and doesn’t expect to receive any. Ideally you are going to put this on host port interfaces. It can cause loops. It doesn’t process BPDUs.

bpdugaurd is meant to go on a Portfast enabled port leading to a host as well. It shuts down the port when a switch is connected the port and sends BPDUs to it. This way if a user connects an unauthorized device in their cubicle you’ll know about it.

Took the exam today. Only 2 questions from new 6,7,8
    Score 735

    3 dnd
    LACP, vtp and HSRP sim
Loads of q on fhrp- glbp, vrrp, HSRP
Loads of security questions, at least three on snooping and 2 on port sec
1 on span, 3 on rspan 1 on vspan

i would say A, bpdu filter, you would want to disable bpdu’s from being sent to your switch from provider switch and it also basically disables STP on the uplink port. It is a provider switch so you would not want it to get involved in your STP elections and if you enabled bpduguard it would put switch in errordisabled.

Exam done, 9XX, used premium on this site, RPSAN Drag and drop, HSRP Sim, LACP with STP sim, VTP v3 sim.

In LACP/STP sim, switchport encapsulation dot1q can be used only on SW2 (SW1 doesn’t accept it), lab scenario explicitly states that etherchannel configuration should be done only at physical interfaces, do not configure anything on port-channel interface. Port-channel interfaces were not configured initaly, but they were auto created after configuring physical interfaces with channel-group command.

Thank you Certprepare! Certprepare is a very good source of information. Of course, in order to understand the answers to the questions and configuration, it is necessary to study very hard. Without diligent study, certification success is not possible. I passed the exam with a very high score.
For the exam it is important to go through all the questions in the premium version. And then the exam will be easy. Questions were from: SDM, UDLD, Errdisable Recovery, VLAN, VTPv3, Etherchannel (load-balancing method), RSTP switch with PVST + switch, BPDU filter, SPAN, RSPAN, DHCP snooping, IP Source Guard, DAI, Isolated PVLAN, Radius server, Port Security. All these questions from premium version. DaD were: Stackwise vs. VSS, HSRP vs. VRRP
SIM was STP + LACP exactly the same as Certprepare stated. However, I was surprised that it was not possible to configure on switch A switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q. But Etherchannel was then Up.
SIM HSRP was the same as Certprepare.
SIM VTP3 was the same. Unlike Certprepare, my choices were- private vlans were configured on SW1 and pruning was disabled on SW1.
CCNP Friends, I hope I helped you.
