    @Solid Snake is correct,

    The trick part of these questions is one asks for the “PVLAN type” and another asks for “PVLAN port type” these are two totally different questions

    Just passed my Switch exam today with a very high score of 980+.
    All you need is here at on this site.
    I got 44 questions.
    Only 3 new ones I have not seen on here. Not hard to figure out.
    I got 15 questions from New Updated Questions 6, 7 and 8.
    3 D&Ds. 2 from here and 1 new one which is easy.
    I had the 3 usual labs, LACP/STP, VTP, HSRP. Same as on here, but i made a small change to the VTP simlet. I disabled VTP pruning on SW1 only.

    You will need the premium membership from this site. Don’t be cheap, it only costs $19.

    GOOD LUCK to all of you.

    these might not be really new questions, but rather, rephrased / reworded. it’s always better to read and understand cisco references being provided by certprepare for each questions. dumps should only guide as references for question formats that cisco might use.

    Can you tell me if you used the SWITCH_OCT_2019 or the IPHelper to study for the exam?

    @CCNP OBS:
    ” Can you elaborate, applying the configuration on the port channel is not permitted….. Or applying “switchport encapsulation dot1q”? ”

    It is written with bold text in the “Instructions” tab of the LAB that “interface commands must be applied at physical interface level”. That talks to me that any interface command must be entered under “int range fa0/3 – 4”. That’s how I did it. I validated and it was all working as charm: STP/root bridge, trunk status, etherchannel status, vlans present and etc.

    Then my stupidity pop up … and I took the worst decision I ever during those 2 hours in front of that test computer!

    Because I remembered that as from my experience, normally when commands are entered under the physical interface member of the Port-channel, the same (or most of them) gets automatically replicated under the Po interface also. As I didn’t saw them with “sh runn int port-channel 1”, I decided to put them manually (I was thinking better to have config on physical + port-channel interface, than having it on physical only and Cisco to decide that config is not complete because missing on the port-channel interface). I did entered all the same commands as listed in “sh runn int fa0/3” config under my Po1 interface (some accepted, others not) and when I did again my verification with “sh int fa 0/3 switchport” I noted that do1q encapsulation says: “Undefined” instead of “dot1q”(other interface of the Port-channel 1–> fa0/4 was with dot1q). That’s maybe a bug or … let’s say drawback of the simulator. So I had to fix it back :/. And I had to remove the commands from the Port-channel, in order to get my dot1q encapsulation back on fa0/3, but it was still showing “Undefined”. To get it back to dot1q I had to shut the fa0/3 interface, take it out of the Port-channel, put it in mode access, then configure the encapsulation with “sw trun enc dot1q” (that was not accepted on the interface until I changes the mode from trunk to access), then put the fa0/3 back to trunk with “sw mode trunk” and then put it back in the port-channel 1 with channel-protocol LACP.

    The whole exercise (because of my stupid decision taken after I’ve completed all the LAB tasks) took me a lot more time than normally takes to complete that simple LAB.

    @Tuti

    Thanks for explanation how it works on exam. Question thought – have you used “no switchport mode access” or skipped it and did what you would do in real life which is configure “switchport mode trunk” which would overwritten the previous command?

    Also if i understand you correctly you can literally backout your config and do it a new and still gets point for it?

    Btw. i’m going to take exam Tomorrow – my estimates are that i should pass but who knows.

    @Epylon

    “Question thought – have you used “no switchport mode access” or skipped it and did what you would do in real life which is configure “switchport mode trunk” which would overwritten the previous command?”

    Initially 2x ports that you need to put in Po1 on 1 of the switches are “sw mode access” + “sw acc vlan 98” (if I remember correctly the number of the vlan, I think the reason is to mislead you with the native 99 and make you leave that config there). So I did used “no sw acc vlan 98” + “no sw mode acc” (2nd one I don’t remember if being accepted or simply overwritten by “sw mode trunk”. Note: as I said, when I messed up the LAB with that sh*ty “Undefined” I had to put the port in access mode in order to get “sw tr enc dot1q” accepted by the simulator.

    “Also if i understand you correctly you can literally backout your config and do it a new and still gets point for it?”

    Yes, but causes a lot of pressure as it’s a simulator, not real devices. I think it gave me points for the LAB, because I had a lot of doubts on the answers I was giving on the first ~12 questions.

    Good luck!

    @Lalala:
    I didn’t noted “Native VLAN mismatch discovered” console messages, but it may be due to the reason that I’ve manually configured the native vlan on each end of the Po 1 before I no shut the interfaces.

    @noone0008943 very sorry man, I am using the same materials to study (IPHelper and Premium Membership) and I am officially terrified!!
    But I dont get it, How comes people are doing the exam on the same week but they both come with different results??? some says there are so many new questions, some say there are only 3-10 new questions.
    I have passed through Route website comments sections no one is complaining about the new the questions in their exam like us
