The dump I am using to study has two confusing answers to questions. The #1 states VRRP “supports clear-text authentication only” while the #2 states VRRP supports “No authentication, Plain text authentication and MD5 authentication”. Could someone please confirm the correct answers? Thank you.

– Labs are valid. (the only real value of this site actually…)
– DnDs were different.
– Questions for 70% new.

There are a LOT of mistakes in the material provided here. (this is very annoying and sad…)
Really learn the concepts.

You need to study hard:
– Read both OCG and LFG guides.
– Don’t use CBT for switch (especially not for route) or anything above CCNA.
– Use INE for CCNP.
– Bryant is okay for SWITCH but bad for ROUTE. Okay for Tshoot, sort of…

For both Switch and Route exams, after you are done with the book, read the part on the same topics from T-SHOOT book. (just do it it really helps)

T-SHOOT book explains things better sometimes and it accentuates some points that Route or Switch books only glazed over.

Therefore, ID values of 1-4094 are assignable. In contrast, the valid range of configurable ISL VLANs is 1-1001. The following is a summary of VLAN IDs:

1: Cisco default management.
2-1001: Available for Ethernet VLANs.
1002-1005: Defaults for FDDI and Token Ring VLANs.

Recognizing the differences between supported VLAN ID ranges highlights several issues in constructing a network of both ISL and 802.1Q VLAN networks. Thanks God I passed today with score 945 all questions was from the dump I used which is 934q except one I can not remember if it was there or not but that dump has wrong answers so when I think that is not correct I rechecked with certprepare dump.
